Silvia is equipped with a special boiler wrapped in a foam thermal insulator with a high rate of heat absorption. A feature that enables a significant reduction of energy consumption when the machine is on. In addition, the internal parts of the coffee machine in contact with water do not release toxic substances and do not compromise the quality of the beverage in the cup. The aim is to maintain great reliability and thermal stability, main characteristics of the Rancilio Home Line from its beginning.
The new M V6 version features newly a newly designed grouphead, steam wand and switches.

In full conformity with the European ErP directive, Silvia consumes less than 0.5 Wh (Watt-hour) in standby mode. The coffee machine shuts off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity, as stipulated by the Ecodesign regulatory norms.
Steam nozzle, knob and drip tray grid. Professional image and a high level of quality thanks to the ergonomic design of the new commercial articulating steam wand and new steam valve. The new drip tray grid has been designed to make cleaning even simpler.
Pods & Caps. Silvia can be equipped with special adaptors and filter holders, studied for the use of various pods and caps available on the market (optional). These systems allow to preserve the freshness of ground coffee aroma and facilitate to obtain an espresso always perfect.
Commercial filter holder design. The new ergonomic commercial filter holder together with the chrome-plated group cover enhance the professional image of the Silvia.

Use & Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. To download your machine's user manual click here. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:
- Descale approximately every 3-6 months. We recommend using Dezcal.
- Perform a backflushing/cleaning cycle every 1-2 months. We recommend using Cafiza Tablets.
- Soap out water tank (if applicable) and drip tray every few days.
- Keep the stainless steel casing shiny with a microfiber cloth.
- Remove coffee oil build up in your portafilter and baskets by soaking them in hot water and one backflushing tablet once a week. We recommend using Cafiza tablets for this.
