I had an original Saeco Sirius coffee robot that the grinder motor had eaten one of its motor brushes. Alas these are not easy to change. This new replacement motor recommended by ECS is slightly shorter and I had to build a little pad out of electrical tape to support the shorter motor body. ALSO the newer motor has a different gear pitch from the original and so I also had to buy a new gear for the bottom of the grinder. They do also sell a complete motor/gear assembly I would have bought had I known.
Lastly, watch a YouTube video on how to remove the grinder sensor when changing it over to the new motor assembly as it is very delicate and is hands down the smallest soldering project I have ever had to fix!
