I like my morning coffee HOT, from first to last sip. That is why I decided to try these. I do heat these cups in the microwave with water. Then I pour my coffee in. They stay HOT for a long time. I've never timed how long as my coffee is always gone in a short time. They DO crack easily so do NOT put in dishwasher, as recommended. I highly recommend them.
