Juicers & Blenders for Fresh Blended Beverages
Find juicers and blenders designed to make fresh juice & blended beverages quickly and conveniently, with options that suit everything from occasional use to daily juicing routines. From compact entry-level models to advanced juicing and blending systems, ECS Coffee carries appliances designed to earn a permanent place on your countertop.
A juicer extracts liquid from fruits and vegetables and separates out the pulp, giving you a concentrated, fibre-free drink that's absorbed quickly. A blender keeps the whole fruit or vegetable intact — skin, pulp, fibre and all — and purées it into a thick drink like a smoothie. If you want a light, concentrated glass of juice, you want a juicer. If you want a filling drink with fibre included, ice, yogurt, or protein blended in, you want a blender. Many households end up with both, since they solve different problems rather than competing with each other.
It depends on what you're juicing most. Cold press (masticating) juicers use a slow-turning auger to crush produce, which produces slightly higher yield from leafy greens and creates less foam. A centrifugal juicer uses a high-speed spinning disc instead, and the trade-off is speed and convenience — a glass of juice in under 30 seconds versus several minutes per serving with cold press, plus less prep work since whole fruit can go through a wider chute. For most people juicing apples, carrots, citrus, and mixed vegetables a few times a week, centrifugal is faster, easier to clean, and produces excellent juice. Cold press genuinely pulls ahead for daily wheatgrass shots or heavy leafy green juicing — worth knowing before you buy, even if that's not the type currently in this collection.
A full-size stand blender is built for volume and power — smoothies, frozen drinks, soups, nut butters, anything that needs serious blade speed and a sealed jar. An immersion blender is a handheld wand you lower directly into a pot or cup, designed for smaller jobs like blending soup right in the pot, making a single smoothie, or whipping up a quick sauce without dragging out a full jug and lid. They're not really substitutes for each other — an immersion blender can't crush ice or handle large batches the way a stand blender can, and a stand blender is overkill for blending a bowl of soup. If you cook a lot of soups and sauces, an immersion blender earns its place on the counter alongside a stand blender rather than instead of one.
For daily smoothie use, prioritize motor power and blade design over extra buttons and presets — those determine how smooth the final texture is, especially with frozen fruit, ice, or leafy greens. A higher-wattage motor with a strong blending vortex will pull ingredients down into the blades consistently instead of leaving chunks stuck at the top or sides, which is the most common frustration with underpowered blenders. If you want one-touch convenience, look for a model with pre-programmed smoothie or ice-crush settings so you're not manually timing and pulsing every batch. Removable, dishwasher-safe blades and jars also matter more than people expect once you're blending daily — cleanup friction is often what makes people stop using a blender regularly.
If citrus is your main use — fresh lemon juice for cooking, orange juice at breakfast, lime juice for cocktails — a dedicated citrus press is the more practical tool than a full whole-fruit juicer. Citrus presses are built exclusively for lemons, limes, oranges, and grapefruits, with far less mess, prep, and cleanup than a centrifugal machine designed to handle apples, carrots, and leafy greens too. Look for a universal cone that fits different citrus sizes without swapping parts, and consider whether you want an automatic spinning reamer (simpler, hands-off) or a motorized lever press (more control over pulp level). If your juicing needs go beyond citrus — apples, carrots, mixed vegetables — a full centrifugal juicer is the better investment instead.
We are an authorized service centre for trusted brands like Technivorm and Breville in Canada. Our in-house service technicians and wide range of parts ensures support beyond your machine purchase.
We actually use the equipment we sell. Our brewers & espresso machines have been used by our team in our showroom, evaluated for coffee quality, and chosen because we'd put it on our own counters. We don't stock drip brewers just to fill a category.
Unlike big box retailers, we carry the beans to go with the brewer. Our team can recommend the right grind size, coffee origin, and dose for the machine you're buying. The brewer and the coffee are two halves of the same result.
Family-owned since 1997, ECS Coffee is Canada's destination for coffee, espresso gear, and expert service. We know which machines last, which ones fail, and what proper maintenance looks like over a 10-15 year ownership cycle.
