Price Match Policy

If you find a lower price online, in-store, or in print before you buy or within 30 days of your purchase we’ll match the price.*

*ECS Coffee reserves the right to make the final decision on a Price Match request. Limitations apply. See below for full price match policy.

Please note: We do not honour Price Match Requests for products sold by retailers during special promotion periods (including but not limited to): Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day/Week.

To request a price match, first make sure the product qualifies.

Make Sure the Product Qualifies


  1. If you’ve already purchased the product from ECS Coffee (in-store or www.ecscoffee.com) and would like a price adjustment, it must have been purchased within the past 30 days.
  2. The product must be identical to the product sold by ECS Coffee (i.e., size, model, quantity, brand, colour).
  3. The product must be priced in Canadian Dollars and include all fees, shipping costs, and other charges.
  4. The product must be sold and shipped by a retailer or authorized dealer located within Canada.
  5. The product must be in-stock, available for sale, and cannot be a limited time offer or available only in limited quantity at the time of the price match request. The product must be ready to ship immediately, as in the same or next day.
  6. The product’s price must not be lower due to an advertising error, misprint, or special sale price. Special sale prices include (but not limited to): Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day, special educational prices, restricted offers, mail order offers, rebates, coupons, premiums, free or bonus offers, liquidations, clearances, vendor driven promotions, and financing offers.
  7. Amazon.ca price match requests will only qualify if sold directly by Amazon.ca. Additional exclusions apply for Amazon.ca Prime.
  8. Price Match is not valid on products sold by marketplace vendors, third-party sellers, auction sites or sites/retailers requiring memberships.
  9. Our Price Match Policy is valid only on products purchased at one of our retail locations or on www.ecscoffee.com and NOT on any third party or alternate channels we may sell on.

ECS Coffee reserves the right to limit quantities to one (1) per Price Match request.

We Do Not Honour


  1. Price matching on consumable products (including but not limited to): single serve capsules (Keurig, Tassimo, Nespresso), coffee, tea, syrups, sauces, condiments, spices and seasonings, and baking mixes. We also do not price match on coffee & espresso machine replacement parts.
  2. Prices from marketplace vendors, third-party sellers, auction sites or sites or stores requiring memberships, including box stores such as Costco.
  3. Prices that cannot be determined independent of other items, fees, or charges.
  4. Percent off or dollar off if the product’s price cannot be determined independent of other items, fees, or charges.
  5. Bundle offers, instant rebates, mail-in offers, offers that include financing.
  6. Prices that require minimum quantity purchases.
  7. Products that other retailers have listed with special sale price. Special sale prices include (but not limited to): Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day, limited time offer, limited quantity offers, special educational prices, restricted offers, mail order offers, rebates, coupons, premiums, free or bonus offers, liquidations, clearances, and financing offers.
  8. Damaged, used, or refurbished products.
  9. Misprinted or inaccurate prices.
  10. ECS Coffee will not offer rain-checks for items that are not currently in-stock in our stores or online www.ecscoffee.com.
  11. Photographs of (including but not limited to) products found on shelf at another retailer, special sale price/offers published on social media.

Request a Price Match for previously purchased product
If you’ve already made your purchase online (www.ecscoffee.com), you can request a price match online. You should receive a response from our customer service team within 1 business day. If you qualify, you’ll receive a credit within 7 business days.*

If you’ve already made your purchase in-store, you can make your price match request at any ECS Coffee store. Remember to bring the flyer, advertisement, or web address of the lower-priced product with you as well as your original receipt. Please make sure you notify a store associate before proceeding to the cashier. Please note: ECS Coffee stores cannot verify or complete Price Match requests through telephone communication.*

Remember to bring the flyer, advertisement, or web address of the lower-priced product with you. Please make sure you notify a store associate before proceeding to the cashier. Please note: ECS Coffee stores cannot verify or complete Price Match requests through telephone communication.*

Does the Price Match Policy apply to the prices of internet and in-store retailers?
Yes! If we don’t already offer the lowest price on the products you want, we’ll match any qualifying price from a Canadian retail store or Canadian online retailer.

How do I show proof of the price difference?
If you’ve already made your purchase, fill out this form to request a price match. You should receive a response within 1 business day. If you qualify, you’ll receive a credit within 7 business days.*

How does the Price Match Policy apply to backordered/out of stock products?
Due to the seasonality and demand of our products, we can only Price Match products that are in-stock at ECS Coffee stores or online www.ecscoffee.com.

Why would my Price Match request be refused?
If your Price Match request includes a product that does not qualify, we may refuse the request. Please review the following sections for more information: Make Sure The Product Qualifies and We Do Not Honour.*

*ECS Coffee has the final decision for accepting or refusing a Price Match request.

Does ECS Coffee Price Match “free gift with purchase” offers?
We cannot price match any “bonus” or “free gift with purchase” offers that may be offered by another retailer because we cannot verify the value of the product(s).
