The EMBER mug is an attractive product. We received one as a gift and were asked to test it so it qualify as a corporate gift as part of our next campaign. The product is attractively styled, but costly. It worked well for a while. Then the app would not connect and soon after the mug stopped heating up. We found as cause the little electric contact did not pop up from inside the power saucer. We wrote to EMBER and one of their automated questions did ask if the connectors are up and working. I took that as an indication that I was not the only one with the issue. I filled out all fields in their template, like serial #, etc. and submitted my request for help. Maybe warranty? No answer. I sent my request two more times without receiving any response. I guess they do not want to provide customer service as part of their marketing concept. The mug is off our list and we will not use it in our gift campaigns.
