Flow-Control Portafilter: Perfect for espresso beginners, the Flow-Control Portafilter features a restricted exit port, meaning the portafilter does the work of building the appropriate pressure needed for an espresso extraction. No dial-in required – just simple espresso brewing.
Bottomless 2-in-1 Portafilter: Perfect for when espresso brewers are ready to control their extraction more. This portafilter requires a high-quality, espresso capable burr grinder, but means that home baristas can control the variables of each shot, and ensure their espresso if to their exacting standards.

I bought this Flair Neo Flex to explore this company's products.
A year ago while workin for a coffee services NGO, a buyer brought the higher end of Flair makers. I was inpressed and thought getting myself this one that seemed to be lighter and perfect for camping or coffee time with friends.
After using it for 3 weeks, I noticed a crack on the portafilter, which slowly increased it's size over the time.
afte a couple of weeks the portafilter entirely broke.
So, then communicated with Flair Co about this, sent me back to ESC, the ECS sent to Eigh Once, Eight Once sends me back to ECS customer Service.
While all this was in process to just replace the portafilter, The entire arm broke while usingthe red portafilter for all kind of ground size.
Now, there's no way to get a new one, which I probably won't because of it's plastic design and weakness.
I am in talks to get reimbursed or credited throught Eight Once.
As a coffee enthousiast, I loved the Neo Flex for the time it perform until it started to break down after about 100 pulls.
Just consider that if you're looking into buying this one. But it is not available in Canada for now due to Tariffs from the US as I understand.
At Eight Once they do have in stock other alternatives like WACACOs products.

The Flair Neo Flex is a great one to start with. I am enjoying marking coffees for my roommates.
And we are all hooked up with the caffeine now.
The structure is lighter than other models.
I am making great coffees, so many that we got decaf coffee. It would have been sweet if it came with the nice portable case.
I'm sure that I will bring it for camping, beach coffees, cyclotouring, its weight is considerably less than expected.
