This is an attractive, functional, and durable tea kettle. As with all kettles, if overfilled it will sputter when water is boiling. I ordered one from the big "A" conglomerate that arrived with a rusted dent that had obviously existed before it was sent. I returned it and found ECS Coffee, who did an excellent job and supplied plenty of status updates during the shipping process. The kettle arrived in perfect condition.
Lid is a bit tight, no other issues
Tea kettle is beautiful; whistle is loud enough to get my attention, but not ear splitting. I'm very happy with my purchase. Shipping was faster than I thought it would be.
