Green Mountain

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters began in Vermont in the early 1980s as a small specialty coffee roaster, growing from a local café supplier into a nationally recognized brand. Under the leadership of Bob Stiller, the company built a reputation for quality coffee and a strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility, becoming one of the most respected names in American specialty coffee. It was also an early champion of Fair Trade Certified coffee and was regularly recognized for its social and environmental programs.

The company is best known for helping launch the single-serve coffee era. In 2006 it acquired Keurig, the Massachusetts company behind the K-Cup single-serve system, and the two grew rapidly together — putting fresh, convenient, brew-by-the-cup coffee into millions of homes and offices. The business was later renamed Keurig Green Mountain and today forms part of Keurig Dr Pepper.

Throughout its growth, Green Mountain has remained focused on approachable, everyday coffee in a wide range of styles, from smooth breakfast blends to bold dark roasts and indulgent flavoured varieties. Its coffees are crafted to deliver a consistent, satisfying cup with the convenience that made single-serve brewing so popular.
