Precise and repeatable extraction. Dual stainless steel boilers and heated group head controlled by digital temperature control (PID) brings water to precisely the right temperature (+/- 1⁰C) to extract maximum flavour potential, shot after shot.
19 - 22 grams dose for full flavour. Achieve a consistent and balanced espresso using the right amount of ground coffee. The 54mm porta-filter with 19-22 grams is the key for full flavour and third wave specialty coffee.
Microfoam milk texturing. Steam wand, powered by a dedicated boiler, delivers microfoam texture of commercial machines that enhances flavour and is essential for creating latté art.
LCD display. Allows easy programming and a shot clock during the extraction.
Flexible Shot Control. Choose between one shot, two shots or manual control over how much espresso ends up in your cup for the perfect dose every time.
Adjustable Dose Control Grinder. The Smart Grinder™ Pro lets you grind directly into the portafilter, an airtight container, gold tone filter basket or paper filter. The choice is yours.

CanadaFantastic espresso machine, terrible grinder
The espresso machine is fantastic, no issues whatsoever, in fact I would recommend it to anybody and everybody. The grinder however, for lack of a better word, is garbage. 6 months of use and it no longer grinds. It makes an extremely loud clicking noise. I have cleaned it regularly and even gone as far as taking it fully apart to remove built up grinds. It’s truly a shame that they sell a top of the line machine with a total lacklustre grinder. The warranty offered by breville does nothing at all. They want $125 to send the machine away to be repaired and do not sell parts. Do yourself a favour and don’t make this purchase because you will regret it 6 months down the line.
