We are excited to introduce this new conical burr series that debuts a revolutionary new grinding technology. Designed and perfected in Liechtenstein over a period of 8 years, this technology sets a new standard in simplicity, efficiency, and durability. This new mechanism has the outer burr rotate and the inner burr is fixed, a truly revolutionary design. The design of this mechanism doubles the efficiency of similarly sized grinders. Coffee passes straight thru the grinder, vertically, and drops directly into the grounds bin or your portafilter.
What is the difference between the Sette 270Wi and the Sette 270?
The Sette 270Wi grinder was designed using the weighing technology of Acaia, giving precise and accurate weight based dosing, with the revolutionary ability to grind by weight directly into a portafilter, a first for the home espresso enthusiast! In addition, the 270Wi comes with Bluetooth capabilities designed to monitor, log and track grind sessions, weights and settings. A tool specifically made for the Sette for use by home enthusiasts, coffee shop and the barista.
Note: The use of oily beans in this grinder can cause the grinder to clog over time. We recommend using beans that are less oily. If you use oily beans the grinder will need to be cleaned more often to avoid clogging.

Great grinder, fun to use.
This Grinder is fun to play with. I purchased it to go with my Breville Oracle. I wanted to see if I could do it better than the machine… after a year of trying, the bottom line is, I can do it as well as the machine… but why bother? The grinder itself is easy to set up and use. The 3 different “one touch” settings let you dial in a single dose, a double dose and another weight you might want to grind frequently. The drawback that I found most affected the output is how “fluffy” the grinds come out. They will easily overflow your portafilter when you try to dose directly into it. I overcame this by using a dosing cup (which was easier to set into the arms than the portafilter anyway). As a LOW retention grinder it is also very easy to clean out between different coffee’s. The bottom burr simply twists off and the whole thing can be swept out thoroughly. Overall I was very happy with this grinder, but I have gone back to using the onboard one in the Oracle as it is just easier and more consistent in its tamping than I am.
