Lavazza Classy Plus Capsule Coffee Machine

Good coffee easy to use and fast

I just received my Classy Plus machine last week and it met all my expectations and then some! If you’re like me and the complexity and size of traditional espresso machines don’t appeal to you, or work for your space, this is the machine for you. It’s compact, simple to use and produces a delicious, piping hot espresso. The ability to brew a milk based drink in one mug that you can use as your drinking glass is genius. It even comes with a sip lid. I’ve yet to find this feature with any other machine out there. Besides the cool features, this machine seems well built, sturdy and made to last. It’s also stunning and looks great in my kitchen. If you’re contemplating a purchasing a Classy Plus machine, I highly recommend it!

I am sipping my first macchiato made with my brand new Classy Plus. I cannot say enough good things about this machine! First, it is beautiful, and the fit and finish is top of the line. I had doubts as to whether or not I would like the glass mug that holds the frother, but it is a pleasure to handle and drink from. Every part of the machine suggests that an extensive amount of thought and engineering went into this product, with a far more attention to aesthetics than any other machine even close to it's price range. It was simple to get going; just wash the water reservoir, fill with your brewing water, and run two 8-oz. cycles through the machine with no coffee pod inserted. Took about 3 minutes total. I also washed the mug and frother attachment before using, as recommended in the manual. Before I purchased this machine, I wondered if it would heat the milk as well as froth it...and it does. The pump is engaged and steam is introduced into the milk as the frother swirls it. Genius, I think! I don't know of any other machine that manages to accomplish that!

I am more than happy with this purchase, and will tell you that the quality of espresso made is on par with what I was getting with my Gaggia, my Flair and my Robot. And although I enjoy the ritual of the measuring, weighing, grinding, tamping, and praying, I am happy to forego all of that and just rely on my little Classy Plus to take care of it for me, and know exactly what I am going to get with each cup. Downsizing to a much smaller home means I cannot have my 6-ft. coffee bar, but I will not need it with this machine. Do not hesitate...this product is top of the line and you will not be disappointed. And, it's built like a tank! My six year old Blue capsule machine is still going strong and not near ready to retire yet. I'll find it a good home...
