I fell for the colour, so beautiful and it is the same in reality as it is on-line. However, there is no water limit benchmark inside, to start with, soI pour the allowable amount measuring in my other Bialetti. The inside is made of silicone, don’t know why. The worst is that my usual coffee, from a local Bridgehead cafe chain, even though ground for a stovetop espresso, boils over of the pot and scares me with the sound, considering that a previous (not Bialetti) pot exploded on me a few months ago and I threw out about 25 of them, keeping just 3 original Bialetti pots. The other Bialetti pots that I already had, never reacted negatively to a cafe-bough coffee grind. When I brew an original Italian coffee (espresso), though, of which I am not a big fan, the pink pot “behaves” and brews gently, no sediment left.
I wanted to return a very pricy pink one, but had thrown out the packaging, never thinking that something like this would happen. Thank you.
