The Encore is lauded by coffee experts as the go-to entry level grinder for those brewing coffee at home. Featuring 40 individual grind settings, from fine to coarse, the Encore can please any palate with its gamut of accurate and repeatable grind settings. The Encore has an accurate medium to coarse grind for the increasingly popular manual brew methods such as pour-over, Aeropress, Siphon and Chemex. The specially designed burrs give a precise grind with minimal fines for a flavourful, balanced extraction when making espresso.
Note: The use of oily beans in this grinder can cause the grinder to clog over time. We recommend using beans that are less oily. If you use oily beans the grinder will need to be cleaned more often to avoid clogging.
More Info

- Turn the hopper and with 40 settings you can quickly adjust from fine for espresso to coarse for French Press grind range is from 250 to 1200 microns.

Terrible
Stopped working/got jammed midway through my 3rd use in the first week of owning it. Tried to take apart and clean it as per 2 you-tube videos with no luck. Sales staff are blaming my dark roast/oily beans. It is now back to store for technician to look at - something which I am told that I have to pay for - or pay a restocking fee. The cuisinart burr grinder I was replacing was half the price and lasted a year before it quit and was NEVER cleaned - and we have been using the same beans for years. I would never buy this machine again.

Espresso grinder purchase

Excellent Product, Delivered Quickly
Great product, works exactly as expected.

Excellent grinder
ECS staff person at Ancaster was wonderful in giving me a great demo of the Breville Precision Brewer ( which I will pick up this afternoon) and recommending this grinder. I said I wanted a good quality grinder but did not want to pay top end prices. This fits the bill perfectly. It will grind coffee coarse for French press to very fine for espresso and everything in between. Does a great job.
