Creating micro-foam is a challenge even for the professional. It requires introducing the right amount of air, integrating it evenly throughout the milk, as well as frothing to the right temperature. Above 150 F (65 C) milk fat starts to separate from the proteins in the milk, creating a watery layer and making micro-foam difficult to achieve. The Temp Control Milk Jug has an integrated thermometer indicator strip to help you texture milk to the optimum temperature range.

It is made with premium thick gauge stainless steel with a spout designed for pouring latte art. For use with steam wands on espresso machines.

Cela fait maintenant un peu plus d'un an que j'ai fait l'achat de ce pichet à lait et il a l'air comme neuf même si je l'utilise chaque jour. Étonnement, j'aurais pensé que le thermomètre se serait brisé ou décollé mais non!! Il est parfait pour faire mousser mon lait pour mon café qui est de format moyen. J'aime bien l'idée du thermomètre à même le pichet pour indiquer la température quoique j'en ai plus vraiment besoin...pour les débutants c'est parfait! La seul chose que j'améliorerais serait de faire le pichet de forme poire dans le bas...plus efficace pour faire mousser le lait moins de risque d'éclaboussures...quoique ça ne m'arrive pas car je fais attention. Il est parfait pour moi!

I am still working on getting the right amount of milk in this froth jug. It's pretty small so I tend to overfill it. If it is very bright in your kitchen it is a little hard to see the changing colours on the jug. Other than that, it's well made and eliminates the need for the thermometer which is nice. The company is fabulous. Received the product within a week of ordering. Wow! Even during COVID! I will definitely be ordering more items from ECS.
