Oxygen makes coffee stale and robs your brew of its full potential. Atmos banishes air, moisture, and odours to stop your beans from aging out before you've enjoyed the whole bag. The integrated vacuum pump sucks air out to prevent oxidation and extend coffee's shelf life by up to 50%.
An integrated vacuum pump keeps the vacuum magic all in the lid so you never have to hunt down a separate piece. Just twist the lid back and forth to remove air from the inside and watch the dot on the vacuum lock indicator drop to reveal a green ring. The vacuum is now locked to prevent oxidation and extend the shelf life of coffee and other pantry items. An airtight silicone seal stops air, moisture, odours, and other funk from seeping in.

When the contents of your Atmos are calling your name, press the easy release button to unlock and bring the air pressure back to normal.
- Don't just limit your Atmos to coffee! You can store cereal, nuts, cookies, candy, or whatever else could benefit from the banishment of air. Just make sure you refrain from putting fine powder inside (flour, finely ground coffee, etc.). This may cause clogging of the vacuum lid and void the warranty.
The Atmos is designed to hold a vacuum for approximately 3-4 days, storing your coffee beans to use throughout the week. It is not designed for long term shelf storage. As your coffee degasses, you may see the notch level decrease or disappear all-together, and you may need to release the pressure and reseal. How much or how fast your coffee degasses will vary depending on how recently the coffee was roasted, the type of coffee and the roast. Basically, the less gas, the longer your Atmos Canister will keep its seal!
-
Do not place Atmos upside down while storing content inside. Refrain from putting fine powder inside: flour, finely ground coffee, etc. This may cause clogging of the vacuum lid.
