Spike-to-Cut (S2C) 40mm Stainless-Steel Burrs. Milled from highly durable SUS420 stainless steel, Timemore engineered the BRICKS burr set for high precision, all-purpose grind versatility, and an impressive longevity. Unlike traditional conical burrs that "crush" beans, Timemore's S2C two-phase geometry utilizes an initial set of teeth that breaks down the beans before a bottom row "slices" them to a perfectly uniform grind. As a result, BRICKS produces just the right amount of fines for rich, creamy espresso while on coarser settings (i.e., pour over) these fines are reduced to yield clean and nuanced flavours.
