I am wondering what brew mode you have used for the auto start function? If the amount of water added is more or less than what is required for a particular brew mode, it might prevent your brew from taking place. The machine has an internal sensor to detect that the amount of water is correct for the brew mode. If possible, could you try to program a new Auto Start, and keep note of the brew mode?
