I have both the the KBGT and one cupper in my kitchen. The KBGT I have had for 10 years and still works as new. Sometimes I am alone at home, and the one cupper is more convenient.
Excellent reviews on all their machines. Very informative, and I learned a few things I never knew.
I only have one cup a day, but that cup has to be special. I grind my own beans prior to use, and only buy the best beans. I don't like bells and whistles on a coffee maker.
I would never consider another brand, I am that happy. And I am a very picky consumer. One thing I did find with the one cupper, is the coffee is slightly more concentrated. The #1 filters are too small, so I use #2, and cut them slightly smaller, so they are between a #1 and #2.
At the price it took me a while to buy the one cupper, because I was not sure it was worth the money. Ohhhh it's worth the money lol. Amazing machines.
If I ever do have to replace the KGBT, it would be with the 8 cupper. We have never used more than that.
