Live your barista dreams and enjoy moments of pure Italian style every day. The EGF03 coffee machine enables you to customize every step of your coffee brewing, in a professional, connoisseur-like way: choose the blend you prefer, insert the coffee beans into the integrated grinder, select the pre-infusion that best suits your taste (short, standard, long or progressive) and the coffee extraction temperature.
Then proceed to brew: the pressure gauge will show whether you have carried out the correct coffee grinding and pressing operations to achieve perfect espresso coffee extraction.
You can also prepare milk-based drinks using the professional steam wand!

Dual Thermoblock. Double thermobock heating system: brewing coffee and steam ready without waiting times.

Manometro. Thanks to the pressure gauge, it is possible to check whether the coffee is being extracted at the correct extraction pressure.

Use & Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. To download your machine's user manual click here. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:
- Descale when the machine prompts you, approximately every 3-6 months. We recommend using DeLonghi EcoDecalk.
- Soap out water tank (if applicable) and drip tray every few days.
- Keep the stainless steel casing shiny with a microfiber cloth.
- Remove coffee oil build up in your portafilter and baskets by soaking them in hot water and one backflushing tablet once a week. We recommend using Cafiza tablets for this.
- Replace your DeLonghi DLS C002 every 2-3 months.

For faster service when you call, please have the following readily available: Provide the product model number (listed above) and the batch code (this is a 3 to 4 digit number). These numbers are usually located on the back, underside, or behind the water tank of the product, either on a sticker or an imprinted graphic. Have an original or a copy of the sales receipt.

Finally tried out our new espresso machine!
Pretty, sleek, beautiful design, efficient, easy to use and clean.
AND.... perfect espresso and Latte
We had been thinking of getting an espresso machine for a while now, and decided to once we saw this new Smeg machine. We are so glad we got it!! It ticks all the boxes. :)
It is a very beautiful espresso machine and looks AMAZING in our space in the cream colour.
We are also impressed with the little touches of this machine as well, the accessories feel high quality, and the hidden storage compartment under the drip tray to store the extra filters & brush is a nice bonus.
We’ve only ever had a Nespresso at home, so we’re complete manual espresso newbies. However this machine turned out to be very user friendly and we got the hang of it in no time. The pressure gauge is really helpful in determining how we need to adjust our grind and tamp to get great espresso, and the built in grinder and steam wand is a huge plus. We don't have a lot of space so having everything built in is a nice benefit. The grinder is really clean too which is a pleasant surprise - all of the grinds fall directly into the portafilter and there is never any mess on our countertop.
Overall I would highly recommend this espresso machine. The machine is even more beautiful in person, and we've been enjoying delicious lattes & americanos daily since we got it 3 weeks ago. Both my husband and I are enjoying the brew process, and are enjoying trying different kinds of beans to find our favourites! It's safe to say this is our favourite purchase of the year. :)
